Raising teens who own their choices starts here.
A practical guide to help teens build character, resilience, and confidence, in a world that’s lost its way.

About the Author
Kevin Spicer
Kevin Spicer is a veteran high school teacher and coach who has spent more than two decades working with teens in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.

Over the years, he has watched a growing number of students give up on themselves, losing motivation, avoiding challenges, and expecting success to come without effort.

Frustrated by the widening gap between those who persevere and those who no longer try, Kevin wrote this book to challenge that trend.
His goal is to equip the parents, teachers, and mentors who guide teens every day with practical tools to help young people build grit, character, and real self-confidence.
When he's not teaching, Kevin enjoys being outdoors, hiking mountain trails or fly fishing along the west coast of Vancouver Island. You'll also find him playing hockey with the guys on Thursday nights or paddling a kayak through ocean waves.
